Yes brushy Mountain fourway....Honestly I do not like them. The set up itself is ok, room to work, effiecent, but the everyone one I bought this year had warped long boards and it took some work to get them together. The slats in the bottom were warped too. Lucky for me I have not seen a single beetle or mite this year...yet. As you can see from the picture its well populated which is the biggest problem, cant get them to leave LOL...so I just keep exchanging frames and adding cells...move the queen(s) to 5 frame nucs with whatever bees are on the frames...working fine thus far. I hope to find some mini mates for next year though...
Is this a brushy mountain fourway? I like them, but not fond of the gaps in the bottoms for vents or the center two holes being smaller than the outer holes... beetles enter through the vents in the bottom, so bees glue them mostly shut, but the mini cd traps will not fit in the center holes... aside from that, they are nice.
