Russell Apiaries

This is my first year of beekeeping and I'm hooked (stung?:D)!!!!! 

With the unseasonably mild winter that we had I have been baptised by the "trial by swarming" method.  Looks like I'll pull some nice light honey off this year (privet hedge and wild yellow clover among other things).  I could've had more but the swarming cut into my production.   Anyhow, I'm in a learning mode this summer (2012) and enjoying myself immensely!!!
